• 1. Prepare Board

    • Your board must be 100% clean for proper pad adhesion.

    • Replacing Wax: Scrape your board clean with a wax comb and use wax remover on any remaining wax. Then see steps 3-4 below.

    • Replacing Old Pad:

    1. Remove the old pad and adhesive with a razor.

    2. Use a cleaner (Goo Gone, wax remover, acetone) to loosen any leftover adhesive before scraping it off with a razor.

    3. Wash off the cleaner residue with a soapy sponge.

    4. Sand with 320 grit sandpaper, then follow the step below for a new board.

    • New Board: Use a damp paper towel to clean the board. Make sure it is totally dry before proceeding.

  • 2. Trace Outline of Pad

    • Position the pad so that your foot is directly over the center of the board lengthwise.

    • The 4 pieces can be spread apart to fit all board widths.

    • Once the pad is in your desired position, trace the corners with a pencil.

  • 3. Remove Backing and Place Pad

    • Starting with one end of the pad, peel off only some of the adhesive backing.

    • Apply one end of the pad first and work your way forward, exposing more adhesive as you go. Doing this slowly and carefully will help prevent air bubbles.

  • 4. Press Pad Down Firmly

    • Press down firmly on all areas of the pad, especially the outer edges.

    • Wait 24 hours before surfing to give the adhesive time to properly bond.
