Our Story
As lifelong surfers from Santa Barbara, California, we weren't satisfied with the surf gear options on the market. It seemed like the only choices were cheap products from companies that didn't understand the needs of real surfers, or ridiculously marked-up products from large corporate brands. So we started ELUDE to provide affordable prices while still maintaining the high level of quality that real surfers need from their gear.
The ELUDE Difference
Our online business model is what allows us to offer such affordable prices. By selling online, we eliminate the retail markup that traditional surf brands have. Our lean operation features a small team, minimal product packaging, and limited marketing expenses to keep our costs low. We then pass those savings on to our customers. As a smaller company, we're also able to offer personalized customer service and respond quickly to all emails and social media inquiries.
